GET BEHIND UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE RIGHT NOW!!! DEFEAT OF MISSOURI PROPOSITION C

If ever we needed to get behind UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE, it is NOW. If ever we needed to mobilize the millions WITHOUT HEALTH CARE, it is NOW. If ever we need VOTER REGISTRATION, EDUCATION AND PARTICIPATION, it is NOW.

People without HEALTH CARE need to be informed about what may happen to them if the Republicans, Conservatives, Tea Partiers, etc. have their way at the polls come November. Brothers and Sisters we need to educate ourselves about the Health Issues.

In my Opinion, President Obama has done a masterful job in getting the Health Insurance passed. He has done his part. It now up to us to get out and VOTE in NOVEMBER.

MISSOURI HEALTH CARE FREEDOM, PROPOSITION C (2010)

From Ballotpedia 8/24/10

"The Missouri Health Care Freedom, Proposition C was on the August 3, 2010 statewide ballot in Missouri as an legislatively-referred state statue, where it was approved by more than 70%.

The proposed measure aimed to block the federal government from requiring people to buy health insurance and it banned punishment for those without health insurance.

Backers of such measures were opposed to President Barack Obama's new health plan. The measure did not advocate a particular plan but advocates said the measure would "protect the individual's right to make health care decisions." Opponents of the measures and some constitutional scholars said the proposals were mostly symbolic, intended to send a message of political protest, and had little chance of succeeding." The passage of Prop C is considered largely symbolic, as federal law over rides local and state laws.

People without Health Care cannot afford to go to the doctor. They only go to the emergency rooms when they are desperate and it cost more and more dollars to treat them. In my Opinion, the people who voted for Prop C do not understand that being treated in the emergency rooms cost many times the cost of PREVENTIVE CARE and going to the doctor before they are in desperate condition(s). In part I think many just don't care about poor people. Now couple this with a BLACK FACE and RACISM'S UGLY HEADS RISES AGAIN. BLACK and POOR PEOPLE , especially those who don't have Health Care can forget about it or they can get themselves register to VOTE AND GO and VOTE ON NOVEMBER 2 to oust nasty REPUBLICANS and INCUMBENTS trying to stop HEALTH CARE REFORM.

You can REGISTER to VOTE at The Board of Election Commission Offices, any Library and other Voter Registration Projects throughout the communities. Take a form of identification with you such as a driver's license, sociall security card, etc. DO IT NOW, before these people who do not care if you or your families have HEALTH CARE take the possibility away forever.
